ANDREW CLARKE - Wanted Man Winemaker & Viticulturist
Andrew Clarke is a passionate man. His passions for wine, food, bonhomie old sports cars and the 'Mighty Magpies' are infectious. He is a devoted husband and father. His life so far has been one of enthusiastic endeavour.
In 1979, Andrew won the Wine & Brandy Producers Association of Victoria scholarship to study winemaking and viticulture at the Riverina College of Advanced Education. To quench his thirst for winemaking knowledge he spent time variously in Sonoma, California and in Bordeaux, where he worked at 3rd growth Margaux Chateau Giscours. On returning to Australia Andrew continued to gather knowledge under the mentorship of local luminaries, Colin Richardson, Andrew Birks, Andrew Hood, Brian Fletcher and Rick Kinzbrunner.
