The Wanted Man vineyard, on Schoolhouse Lane, sits on hard, red dirt on a slope above the McIvor Highway as it winds its way out of Heathcote, just past iconic vineyards such as Jasper Hill, and the beautiful Camelback Range.

The vineyard is planted to varieties best suited to our soil, which is frankly challenging to grow grapes, but is truely rewarding. We have found the varieties from the Rhone Valley best suit our micro climate and so we feature wines made from Shiraz, Mataro, Marsanne, Viognier and Rousanne. Most of our wines are released as Single Vineyard bottlings, either our white label or black label where the vintage is especially good. Under the Regional brand we release wines made from our fruit supplemented with fruit from local vineyards.
